|Recommended: YesLiving Experience — I love the layout of the floor plan, works great. One thing we struggle with, is parking for visitors, they have to park clear out by the office after certain hours. I enjoy living here very much and feel safe. One of the best perks is having the night security. Very comforting to know we have someone keeping a look out at night. My son don't have to walk to far to catch the bus for school super nice when the weather is not great. Love the easy access to the freeway and shopping. Getting anywhere quick is convenient.
|Recommended: YesGreat location and amenities — I would highly recommend the only downfall is parking can be difficult
|Recommended: YesI like the property — The leasing staff are very nice and friendly.
|Recommended: YesLove it here — Sterling Heights has been a wonderful place to live The staff are always eager to help whenever I have a question and are timely in their response. I moved to Vancouver from out-of-state and the staff were amazing when it came to answering my 20 questions and supplying me with any information I needed about the complex. I have never had any issues with finding a parking spot or dealing with loud neighbors. The ground were always kept clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Sterling Heights to anyone looking for a clean, safe place to live
|Recommended: YesThe right time and place. — Great apartment layout and lovely view from up on the third floor. We are looking forward to the soon to be gated community makes it feel like a safer apartment complex. The only thing that could be improved would be to have at least one assigned parking space per apartment, included. It is difficult at times to find parking in the evenings and on weekends. Otherwise, this is the perfect apartment for young adults and families to start out living on their own.
|Recommended: YesLove it — It's a relatively quiet neighborhood, and the staff is nice
|Recommended: YesMy experience — It has been a good experience living here. High quality apartments surrounded by good neighbors. Parking would be the only negative which is the least of my worries.
|Recommended: YesNice and clean — lots of fees, other then that its all good
|Recommended: YesNice central place to live. — I like living here I just wish we had 1 assigned parking spot included per unit.
|Recommended: YesGreat apartment in an excellent location — In my building, we have a gorgeous view of Portland and the river skyline I love it here, and the rent is not outrageous. The only complaint I have is parking gets tight around 5 pm every evening and sometimes I have to walk really far to my apartment from where I parked.
|Recommended: YesWe like it family friendly calm atmosphere. — It's a good community. Staff is friendly and helpful. We like this layouts and what you get for your money. Parking can be better thought.
|Recommended: YesLove living here — Great location, close to shopping and freeway access. No noise issues, clean and friendly neighborhood.
|Recommended: NoNice property, stays clean — Very nice place to live, unfortunately you hear everything the neighbors above you are doing. Should have put better insulation in between floors. Also, unless you pay an additional 35.00 per month, parking spaces are not available to renters. I have lived here now 5 months and my rent has been raised 200.00. Not a bad place to live, but there are a lot of small additional out of pocket expenses.
|Recommended: YesQuiet and Convenient — My apartment is extremely quite with the exception of the dumpster across from me which the maintenance men use in the morning as I'm heading to work. I hear it for maybe 15 minutes before leaving for work and in no way affects me negatively. The location of the complex is extremely convenient for me because it is a 5 minute drive to work and a 2 minute drive to the grocery store.
|Recommended: YesGreat complex but... — Your parking situation is horrific if you come home after 9pm. I work nights and routinely leave and come home late. You frankly want to much money for parking spaces and garages when available are also to much. Even if I wanted to pay for a covered spot there aren't that many available. rRule enforcement is lacking badly for parking lots. I remember seeing in the rental agreement that children are not to be playing in the parking lots. However I routinely see kids and teenagers playing and kicking balls in the parking lot around peoples cars and impeding traffic. As for the apartments themselves I think the only real flaw I see is some interior trim is coming off from the edges of counter tops and I'm not sure how I could be causing it. Noise is what I expect from an apartment really, but I think I am fairly relaxed in this area. This all may sound harsh but I am paying enough in rent each month that I could buy a house and pay the same. When you ask so much from a resident expectations rise dramatically.
On a positive note I really like my apartment, exterior design and grounds are wonderful, interior layout is also wonderful. Neighbors are quiet and I love seeing people walking their dogs. The few times I have had guests they were impressed with my apartment in general. If you don't raise the rent too much I hope to stay here for another lease. I understand that rent for my two bedroom with loft is approaching 1400 a month and that will really be my limit. I've seen 4 bedroom houses nearby that could be purchased at that monthly payment on a 30 year mortgage.
